Privacy policy

In this version, the app only stores personal data locally to ensure functionality. No data is shared with or sold to third parties. This app stores data such as:

• When and which version of the privacy policy you have read
• On which days you have used the app (for gamification only)
• If license plates are saved, the input and the date of first entry are stored; if entered multiple times, also how often and when the last time was

This app uses map data from third parties (e.g. OpenStreetMap, maptiler); their privacy policies apply. Optionally, NINA alerts can be displayed; for this feature GeoFeed transmits the municipality encoded as the Official Municipality Code (Amtlicher Regionalschlüssel, ARS) to the Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (Bundesamt für Bevölkerungsschutz und Katastrophenhilfe, BBK). In that case, the NINA privacy policy applies. Based on your device data (such as language and region), the content is localized and map tiles / map views are adjusted.

All data collected by GeoFeed can be deleted in the app's settings; alternatively, you can simply uninstall the app. Information about all collected data can also be found in the Privacy section of the settings.
